Apple Picking Time!

It's been 5 long months since I've posted to the blog, I'm sorry!  I've been adding pictures here and there to my facebook wall, but I realize it will be more fun for the kids to look back at the blog and see their busy lives thru the lens that both I and their Dad capture...
So, this past weekend we made a trip to Kuipers Farm.  This annual visit to the apple orchard is something I personally look forward to every year.  It's fun to see the kids pick apples and now climb trees!  I hope you enjoy these pictures...

A trip to Brookfield Zoo on St. Patrick's Day

 Yes, Averly had on a child's leash.  If you had a daughter like Averly you would have her wear the leash too!  This was a life saver in crowds!

 RJ is excellent at reading the zoo map and telling us where to go!

 All three of my babies in the joovy stroller.  I'm not a "stay at home" mom.  I love to be outdoors with the kids and visit places like our amazing zoo.  Ray was in Ohio during St. Patrick's day so I had the kids all to myself :)

 RJ was told asked to hold onto Averly's puppy leash so we wouldn't loose her in the crowd - ha!  The crowd moved on, but we were still hoping the polar bears would swim for us.

 Mom, where are the lions?  It was hot outside, on March 17th... late in the afternoon all of the animals were napping... lucky cats!

 You can see RJ and Averly in my sunglasses.  I wish I asked someone to take a picture of all four of us.

Not sure if the Brookfield Zoo letters are taken down during the winter? or being replaced?  This last picture was actually the first picture I took when we arrived at the zoo. 

What a FUN day!  I'm looking forward to our next visit!
