Happy Halloween!

RJ wanted a spooky pumpkin and a bat carved into our pumpkins, which by the way we grew in our garden this year!  Next year we'll grow more in the backyard so they could sprawl along the fence and get even bigger I hope.

We waited for Daddy to get home to go trick-or-treating around 5:30.  RJ dressed in his Mickey Mouse Firefighter outfit and Averly was a horse!
RJ, Averly and I passed out tons and tons of candy from 4:15 to 5:30.  RJ kept calling the trick-or-treaters customers - it cracked me up every time!

We used the Oswego Fire Department bag for treats - RJ got this during his field trip with Daddy.
She kept showing us the candy she received.
It got dark around 5:50 at night and it was chilly outside, but I layered the kids and put gloves on so they stayed warm.  Last year they were too cold so we don't think they enjoyed the trick-or-treating experience.
Our neighbors just two doors down have a lot of Halloween spirit.  A lot of kids on our block are scared to go to their door, but our little munchkins wouldn't pass up an opportunity for candy!

This picture is taken out of order... Ray took this before we left the house.

We carved our pumpkins the day before.  The kids had fun collecting the seeds for mommy to roast.

We had a great time with Halloween this year.  Yeah for Halloween and yeah for candy!
