Christmas pictures taken from Grandma's camera!

Averly loves her puppy hand puppets and RJ loves his flashlight

Cars, cars, and more cars...

Santa brought Averly a backpack (so she won't fight with her big brother for his every Tuesday and Thursday before school) and a helmet so she can ride her awesome radio flyer bicycle that Grandpa and Anee bought... She's also wearing a new outfit that her Daddy and Mommy gave as a gift.

Lucky Charms cereal... yum... especially fun in front of morning cartoons!

We absolutely LOVED having Grandma spend the Christmas holiday with us!
RJ became very attached to his Grandma and can't wait to see her again soon!

Grandma took pictures of RJ and Averly at McDonald's Playplace

Happy New Year's!!!

After a very busy day celebrating New Year's with our kids and my mom we're at home enjoying a quiet evening in front of the television.  We watched the ball drop in Times Square and the guitar drop in Nashville.  It's time to call it a night and wish 2010 adieu.

Averly saw me painting my toes and wanted hers "pretty" too!

 Cutest little painted toes!
She's eating an apple slice for breakfast here.  Both Averly and RJ LOVE fruit - thank goodness!

RJ's First Day of Preschool at Boulder Point 09/07/10

The sun was too bright to get them to look at me.

I don't know why they were holding hands when we were about to leave, but it's cute nonetheless.

Our neighbor, Joey also started preschool... and he's in the same class as RJ! We're thrilled that they have each other. Once the boys get settled Joey's mom and I are going to start car pooling :) I'm so glad RJ's best buddy lives right next door!

So handsome!

At this point, RJ is telling me to come on mom, we have to go to school...

RJ is saving a seat for Joey!

Averly liked to play in the water fountain. She cried a little when we dropped off RJ. She was also cranky for the 2 and a half hours while he was in school. Once we picked him up, her mood changed and they were wild the rest of the day.

I snapped this picture as I was leaving. You can sort of see RJ at the end of the table.
I can not believe my big boy started preschool today! I am so happy he got into class (he was first on the waiting list) and that he had a great time at school. I hope to share stories every Tuesday and Thursday...lol :)
